Why Japanese Food Is Healthy?

The Japanese are well known for living the longest out of many other nationalities. On average, Japanese men are expected to live at least to the age of 78 which is above the average in many other countries. This is particularly one of the reasons why Japanese food has been known as being very healthy for the body.

Japanese food has a healthy balance of the nutrients that you require on a daily basis. The diet which is common in Japan is a mixture of vegetarian cuisines and non vegetarian cuisines. However, the Japanese are known for little intake of meat compared to other countries. Individuals have also been known to consume a healthy amount of rice, fish and vegetables that is raw or natural. This means although there is great taste, the food is not deep fried or soaked in artificial colors or flavors.
